About this day

The Invitatory opens each day's Liturgy of the Hours, before the Office of Readings or Morning Prayer, whichever comes first. After the verse "Lord, open my lips," Psalm 95 (or Psalm 100, 67, or 24) is sung with an antiphon that changes with the day and season.
