About this day
Vincent, deacon of Saragossa, is Spain's most renowned martyr. Under Diocletian he was tortured at Valencia without renouncing Christ and died there in 304. In the United States his memorial is kept on January 23, as January 22 is the Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children.
