About this day
Bridget of Sweden, a noblewoman and mother of eight, among them Saint Catherine of Sweden, founded the Order of the Most Holy Savior after being widowed. Her Revelations record visions of Christ's Passion. She spent her last years in Rome, dying there in 1373.
