About this day
Philip, from Bethsaida in Galilee, brought Nathanael to Jesus. James, son of Alphaeus, called "the Less," was a kinsman of the Lord and bishop of Jerusalem. Both apostles died as martyrs, and they share a feast because their relics were brought to Rome together.
