About this day
Mary Magdalene de' Pazzi was a Carmelite nun of Florence, born to a noble family in 1566. Known for her ecstasies and long trials of spiritual darkness, she prayed and offered her sufferings for the renewal of the Church. She died on May 25, 1607.
