About this day
Margaret Mary Alacoque was a Visitation nun at Paray-le-Monial in France. In a series of revelations, Our Lord made known to her the love of His Sacred Heart and asked for Holy Communion on First Fridays and a feast of the Sacred Heart. She died in 1690.
