About this day

Easter Sunday celebrates the Resurrection of the Lord, the foundation of the Christian faith. At the Mass during the Day the Sequence "Victimae paschali laudes" is sung before the Alleluia, and the Paschal Triduum closes with Evening Prayer on this day.
