Pentecost Sunday

About this day

Fifty days after Easter, the Holy Spirit descended on the apostles gathered in prayer with Mary, the Mother of Jesus, in Jerusalem, and they began to proclaim the Gospel. The solemnity of Pentecost brings Easter Time to its close.
