The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ

About this day
This solemnity honors the Eucharist, the true Body and Blood of Christ. Promoted by Saint Juliana of Liège, it was extended to the whole Church by Pope Urban IV in 1264 for the Thursday after Trinity Sunday; in the United States it is kept on the following Sunday.
