In Lent

About this day

The Fourth Sunday of Lent is called Laetare Sunday from its Entrance antiphon, "Rejoice, Jerusalem" (Isaiah 66:10), and rose vestments may be worn. In Year A its Gospel, the healing of the man born blind, accompanies the second scrutiny of the elect.
